Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits automatically:

6. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption.
7. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. Neither tracking nor analytics cookies are used, and no profiling of your behaviour takes place on this website.
8. Fonts
This website uses locally embedded fonts exclusively. No third-party fonts such as Google Fonts are loaded; therefore, no data is exchanged with external font providers.
9. Embedded YouTube videos (2-click solution)
Some blog posts contain embedded videos from the YouTube platform (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company Google LLC, USA).
These videos are embedded using a so-called 2-click solution: on simply opening the page, no connection to YouTube or Google is established and no data is transmitted to Google. Only when you actively click the preview image to start the video is the YouTube player loaded. In doing so, data — in particular your IP address and information about your browser — is transmitted to Google and cookies may be set; a transfer to the USA is possible in this process.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you grant by actively clicking. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by not starting the video. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
